Team Lead

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project Management and Delivery

• Coordinate and assist in implementation of projects from initiation through close.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Ensure team is meeting expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the production of team related reports.
• Leverage GIS data to ensure proper delivery and close-out of projects

2. Team Coordination and Leadership:

• Coordinate project teams, including GIS analysts, developers, and other specialists.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring team members are clear on their roles and expectations.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to team members.

3. Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

• Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

4. Technical Expertise:

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all GIS projects.
• Coordinate the creation and maintenance of comprehensive GIS databases.
• Stay updated on the latest GIS technologies and methodologies to improve project execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a GIS Lead or similar role.
• Proven experience working with U.S. project teams.
• Strong knowledge of GIS technologies, methodologies, and applications and software (ArcGIS)
• Experience in the Solar and/or Renewables industry a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
