JOB PUJOB PURPOSE:

JOB PURPOSE:

• Responsible for fund accounting and reconciliation activities.

JOB ROLE :

• Monitoring of expense administration related activities (including Year to date (YTD) MIS).
• Monthly/yearly brokerage reconciliations.
• Ensure that subscription/redemption reconciliations are prepared and sent to AMC as per pre-decided frequency by Registrar (RTA) and Fund Accountant (FA).
• Monitoring of Reconciliations and solving the unreconciled items on timely basis.
• Maintenance of unclaimed redemption/dividend MIS. Ensure the process is followed w.r.t. the payment of unclaimed amounts to the investors.
• Seamless NFO (including Rollover and Maturity of schemes) set up at RTA, Exchanges and Fund Accountant s end. Ensure that the NFO/rollover/maturity related reconciliation is completed within the stipulated time lines with appropriate communication with RTA, Exchange and Fund Accountant.
• Verification of all the Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly, Yearly and periodic reports (compliance and MIS) received from FA and RTA.
• Ensure that the NAVs declared are accurate and within stipulated cut off time.
• Monitoring of Trial Balance on daily basis to ensure entries passed by Fund Accountant are accurate.
• Proper coordination with finance team to ensure accuracy in effecting the change in expense ratio of the schemes.
• Payment of statutory dues and filing of statutory returns within the stipulated.
• Close coordination with Internal/ Statutory auditor w.r.t. FA audits and resolution of audit requirements on timely basis.
• Review of Annual, Half yearly and abridged financials.
• Monitoring and ensuring timely updation of various MIS.
• Co-ordination with FA/Custody/RTA, bankers and internal customers

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Chartered Accountant with work experience of at least 7-8 years out of which minimum 4 to 5 years in fund accounting and reconciliation related areas in mutual fund industry.
