Position : Teamleader - Medicinal Chemistry

Location : Bengaluru Desired Profile: Ph.D. or Post-Doctorate (Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry) with 10+ years of experience.

Job Description, Key Skills, and Competencies:

• Lead productive chemistry departments in areas of synthesis and medicinal chemistry. To solve more complex chemical and medicinal problems that arise.
• Display expertise in all aspects of medicinal chemistry and be able to communicate.
• Manage, lead, motivate, train and develop a team of chemists and scientific staff.
• Recommend and implement methods to increase the productivity of the chemistry function and the quality of products and services offered.
• Remain current in the appropriate scientific literature by appropriately reading the scientific and patent literature and pointing out relevant literature to others.
• Build and maintain an organization of scientific and leadership talent that is world-class in medicinal chemistry, blending a mix of strong, classical, and historical acumen with an ability to utilize cutting-edge solutions for appropriate challenges.
• Responsible for managing several sections concurrently and directing the scientific integrity of client projects in a timely, effective, and high-quality manner.
• Allocate the group's resources in accordance with project priorities based on discussions with company management.
• Lead an internal or collaborative program as a project team leader and ensure transition through different milestones on time.
• Understanding of systems and processes pertaining to safety, health, and environment.
