Job Description
- As an IB PYP Homeroom Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering an international education curriculum, fostering inquiry-based learning, and shaping the overall development of young minds
- Your dedication to implementing the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and creating a supportive learning environment will be instrumental in nurturing students as inquisitive, caring, and knowledgeable individuals
- Facilitate a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Implement the IB PYP curriculum and create engaging lesson plans
- Guide students through inquiry-based learning experiences
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver transdisciplinary units
- Assess student learning through various formative and summative methods
- Offer constructive feedback to support student growth
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress
- Support the holistic development of students through extracurricular activities
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
- Bachelors degree in Education or relevant field
- IB PYP certification or training
- Teaching license/certification as per the location requirements
- Demonstrated experience in teaching the IB PYP curriculum
- Understanding of inquiry-based learning and constructivist pedagogy
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse classroom
- Strong knowledge of international education principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
