- As a member of the Corporate Strategy team, this individual will contribute to TE's portfolio decisions, competitive strategy, and performance by being an advisor to the CEO and the top leadership team.
- As a member of the Corporate Strategy team, you will.
- Effectively translate business requests into well-defined problems.
- Collaborates with the corporate strategy and business unit teams to solve complex business problems.
- Guide and coach India Corporate strategy team and manage their day to day activities.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and community building for India-based strategy talent.
- Develop strategies and approaches to fulfill complex project assignments in creative and meaningful ways.
- Analyzing industry structure, competitive dynamics, and market attractiveness and its likely evolution to inform strategy development.
- Identify key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect our businesses.
- Create analytical models to address key business questions and translate output into clear stories.
- Support development of robust strategic plan for TE Connectivity.
- Lead the overall fact base creation and communication process.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Success in the role requires strong business acumen and strategic mindset, drive to guide and coach team members, exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to work seamlessly with team members at multiple levels in the organization, and the skills and tenacity to achieve results without formal authority.
- 8-10 years of post-MBA experience with a top tier General Management Consulting Firm, with a focus on high tech or diversified industrials clients, is preferred but not required.
- Individual should be a strategy practitioner well versed in the theory and tools of strategy formulation as well as the practical implementation of strategy within a complex organization.
- Well-honed understanding of the key levers to deliver superior and consistent total shareholder return (TSR).
- Operational track record of dealing with strategic business issues including microeconomics, industry structure, operations strategy, and finance.
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle with experience applying these skills in managing teams and leading projects.
