Head of Operations/Production

Role & responsibilities This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Operations/Productions at Coromandel International Limited in Kakinada Plant. The Head of Operations will oversee day-to-day operational activities, manage teams, ensure efficient communication, and responsible for budgeting and resource allocation. The incumbent is accountable for budget planning, which is done in the beginning of the year. The incumbent has the great role in meeting the productivity, quality, delivery, safety and morale aspects. Assist top management in providing appropriate information to set stretch targets and achieve the same through innovative methods by launching developmental projects. Facilitate for training of the newcomers and to create platform for talent improvement. To ensure people participation in TQM activities to look for improvement projects which can be taken through TQM platform. Incumbent is accountable for Improvement / development activities to meet new business requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• B. Tech / M. Tech - Chemical Engineering
• 17+ years similar experience with process industry
• Knowledge in fertilizer industry, Knowledge in equipment, DAP, Production Plan, Grade Change, Raw Material Availability, Quality of out material, Manpower Planning, Business Plan, Statutory Compliances, Safety, Shift Planning, Contract workforce.
