Process Design Engineer (10 To 20 Years) _ Mumbai

Position Name: HCBU Process Design Engineering

Experience : 10- 20 Years

Qualification: B.E/B/Tech/ M.E./M. Tech

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Process Engineer for chemical Projects.

2. Early interaction with client to understand user requirements.

3. Plan the deliverables, sequence them and manage group of engineers to deliver as per project schedule and with acceptable quality.

Key Skills Required:

1. Prepare and review Process Datasheets of Process equipment like pumps, storage tanks, Reactors, vessels, columns, Heat Exchangers and special process equipment such as filtration equipment, drying equipment.

2. Prepare and review process flow diagram for process based on recipe from client.

3. Prepare and review Piping & Instrumentation diagram based on Process Flow diagram.

4. Perform and review hydraulic calculations for line sizing, Pump head.

5. Perform and review Flare network calculations.

6. Perform and review heat exchanger design calculations using HTRI.

7. Perform and review relief valve sizing calculations using appropriate codes.

8. Perform and check surge calculations.es

Preferred skills in software:

1. Proficient in HTRI

2. Proficient in AFT Fathom.

3. Proficient in AFT impulse

4. Operating knowledge of E3D / Navis works software.

5. Operating knowledge of Aveva P&ID
