Responsibilities Provides services in assigned areas of technical expertise to Keysight at the enterprise and entity levels, and to managers or other employees in the areas of U.S. Federal Income tax, Tax Reporting. Provides support in tax specialty areas including preparation/review of schedule foreign provision per US GAAP (ASC 740), executes processes, reports deviations from standard processes and initiates process improvements. Gathers and analyzes data extracted from financial systems or received from other functions or outside advisors where appropriate. Assigned areas may include involvement in company income tax, corporate legal structure, acquisitions and divestitures and other tax areas. Partners with the businesses and other functions in the implementation of business or process changes. Participates in the formulation, coordination and implementation of Keysights global tax strategy with the objective of optimizing global after-tax results. Participates in the representation of Keysight in statutory audits relating to tax matters. Participates in cross functional projects partnering with finance non-finance functions like Corporate Controllership Organization, External Financial Reporting, accounts payable and other finance team. Responsible for preparation/review of Global Intangible Low Tax income (GILTI), SubPart F Foreign tax credit calculation. Responsible for preparation/review of different Book to Tax Adjustments and different Schedules for Form 5471 8858 s and review foreign provision per US GAAP (ASC 740) Responsible for preparation/Review of Foreign tax provision including calculation of deferred tax assets/liabilities, effective tax rate Responsible for preparation of various tax reports generated from Microstrategy/Onestream Solves problems of limited scope and complexity Responsible for preparation/Review of U.S. Income Tax Return Excellent MS-excel skills Works on tax assignments with clearly defined objectives Qualifications Qualified chartered accounts or equivalent. Minimum 1 to 2 years of direct taxation experience for Qualified Chartered Accountants and for Semi qualified Chartered Accountants total 4 years of experience with minimum 2 years in U.S. Taxation (GILTI, FTC etc.). Working Knowledge of Oracle, MSTR, OneStream and specialized knowledge of Corporate Income Tax tool- OneSource Income Tax, International Tax calculator, OneSource Tax Provision would be an added advantage. Should possess strong Analytical skills with ability to analyze the tax GAAP treatment per IRC and US GAAP. Excellent MS-excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools Effective Inter-personal communication including both verbal and written.
