Job Description
Operational
- Monitors direct tax on a fortnightly basis including Corporate Tax and Wealth Tax and provides a clear vision and understanding of tax laws to the team in order to undertake tax saving initiatives.
- Conducts discussions with internal departments and advises local and global management on tax related concerns.
- Validates work conducted by external consultants in order to ensure accuracy of information received
- Ensures no existing tax refunds / credits are lost during transition phases when implementing new Business Scheme Changes
- Ensures compliance with local and international tax laws, takes steps towards arresting the tax cash flow out of the company and ensures that sufficient tax credit is available.
- Ensure maximum compliances to the regulatory, tax audit and statutory requirements for financial reporting
- Drive IT system transformation / implementation / standardisation from Tax perspective
- Completion of tax audit within statutory timeline.

Education & Experience Requirement:
- CA/ICWA
- 5-7 years of experience post CA
In-depth understanding of Direct (& working knowledge of Indirect tax). is required
