Preparation of financial statements of the Company as per the requirements of Companies Act, Indian Accounting standards and other applicable laws, within the designated timelines. To coordinate with respective departments for collection of information required for disclosure in the financial statements. The financial data received from respective departments shall be collated and disclosed in the financial statements in conformity with laid laws and regulations.
To prepare/finalize all audit schedules and financial information and facilitate the same to auditors of the Company thereby ensuring smooth closure of all audit requirements before the conclusion of audit.
To perform executory work for implementation of new accounting standards and relevant laws.
To prepare deliverables as per the requirements of Companys Board of Directors, management and other internal/external stakeholders within the stipulated timelines
Responsibility:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of month/quarter/year-end financial statements of the organization and consolidated financials within stipulated time.
2. Timely preparation/finalization of all audit schedules such as deferred tax, prepaid expense, prepaid insurance, BD schedule, Capital Grant, CNC, Debit balance, MSME, capital commitment, contingent liability , Loss on sale of FA etc.
3. Preparation of separate financials for Tata Power-DDL Generation segment along with relevant schedules.
4. To ensure accuracy & finalization of audit schedules submitted by various departments before disclosure in financial statement and submission to auditors. To prepare and facilitate requirements of parent company during audit.
5. Assistance/resolution to auditor for their observations in quarterly/annually audit. And preparation and finalization of workings for CARO compliance.
6. To perform any other work allocated by Top Management based on Organizational requirements.
7. To co-ordinate with relevant departments for collection of information, analysis of same and preparation of information for disclosure in financial statements as per the requirements of Indian accounting standards and other applicable laws.
8. To perform analysis and facilitate execution of requirements for implementation of new accounting standards and other relevant laws.
9. To prepare financial information as per the requirements of various internal/external stakeholders. Monthly/quarterly scrutiny of Inventory report extracted from SAP with Trial balance and store reports.
10. Scrutiny of Income, expense, Asset & liability ledgers for finalization of financial statements, long old outstanding asset recoverable amount for liquidation and old open provision entries for clearance.
11. Review of purchase proposal and recommendation to FC for approval
12. Attend training programs as nominated by the company.
