Job Description

Desired Competencies

Must-Have
Should be acted as a strong personality with an amalgamation of domain and soft skills. Should have managed multiple complex programs.
Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication / Industrial Engineering from a recognized University (Additional degree of MBA/Mtech preferred)
Min. 5-7 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager / Program Manager for large and complex engagement
Min. 5-7 years of experience in working with IoT/Telecommunications/ IT (Information Technology) or Technology Project Company
Fluent in English (written, verbal and presentation). An ability to communicate fluently in English with varied stakeholders to collect requirements, describe and clarify strategy, specify solution features and refine technical designs
Prior experience of managing multiple stakeholders. Should have deep respect to all religions and be cognizant of cultural sensitivities/aspects
Experience with Project Management Tools and Methodologies
Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources and functions
Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
Sound understanding of financial concepts like Capex, Opex, ROI etc. and ability to develop and Track Budgets and Financials. Focus on Outcome orientation.
Ability to create project documentation like Project Charter, Success Criteria, Requirements/Scope documentation, Project Plan, Lessons Learned, Risk Register, Change Log,

Communication Plan etc
Proven track record of IOT delivery, liaising with cross-functional project teams in a complex and changing environment
Good understanding of functional and non-functional requirements to ascertain customer needs and define user stories

Good to Have
IOT / Project Management (PMP/Prince2) related certifications is added advantage
Agile Certified Practitioner or Certified Scrum Master may help
Verbal communication skills in Gujrati Language
Exposure to projects that involved technologies such as IOT/ Analytics
Good Interpersonal Skills

Sno. Role description/ Expectations from the Role

1 Responsibility of planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through completion.
2 Manage projects; Plan, coordinate and ensure completion on schedule & budget.
3 Outcome/Business benefits/KPI driven approach. Governance enablement (Program and Financials) too
4 CXO Alignment and vigilance for future business Opportunities
5 An ability of managing various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery/assurance, Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Excellent reporting/communication approach with various entities
6 SLA Management, reporting, opportunity identification and enabling better performance metrics
7 Acting as a bridge between upper management and the teams tasked with the actual execution of the project.
8 Provide direction and coaching on project specific tasks. Strong process/training approach externally/internally
9 Proactively manage changes in project scope and ensure timely approvals through a predefined process/mechanism
10 Coordinate activities and tasks among project team members to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule within budget constraints and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.
11 Ensure compliance with internal/external standards and compliance requirements and ensure readiness for audit all the time.
12 Excellent analytical and conceptual skills including an entrepreneurial mindset
13 Demonstrate team leadership and strong influencer with the ability to drive decision making across multiple stakeholders at all levels
14 Adapt in understanding and choosing the best fit methodology from Agile and Waterfall
15 Escalation/Exception management and resolution plan at project level
16 Change Management with plan, cost, timelines and standard deviation record
17 Service Management throughout project duration
18 Onboarding of Resource Partners for installations and field activities. Coordination of in-house and vendor resources for competent project staffing
19 Supervision & Validation of on field Deployments
20 User Testing of data flow into systems
20 Field and Tata Communications application data analysis, root cause identification and enabling resolution
21 Developing detailed timeline and execution plan after aligning with all stakeholders
22 Tracking timelines and ensuring milestone submissions as per schedule of program
23 Identifying, compiling, and addressing risks & issues at program level. Preparing Risk register, assessment, and mitigation plan at project level
24 Managing day to day communication across all stakeholders - Client, vendors, solution and engineering teams
25 Capturing and reporting on weekly and monthly basis
26 Facilitate and update report for Steering Committee Meetings
27 First point of contact for Client in case of any challenges / issues
28 Assessing customer feedback and suggests ways to improve delivery and quality
