Job Description

He or She will be responsible for advancing analytics opportunities in the BFSI* sector, managing project delivery, people, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced analytics and experience in leading high-impact analytics solutions and programs with Indian clients.

Key Result Areas

Stakeholder Management

Manage stakeholder interactions by having regular updates and growing stakeholder engagement (e.g., with channel partners).

Design, plan, and scope out projects with stakeholders.

Explain project methodology and approach to required stakeholders.

Project Management and Training

Manage end-to-end project deliverables by adhering to timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.

Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed and relevant documents are maintained.

Delivery

Collaborate and consulting team members and discuss with internal clients to help them sharpen their business strategy by implementing analytical models..

Understand business problems and address them to solve client issues.

Skills Required

Technical

Experience working on projects end-to-end, not just POCs.

Expertise in machine learning and deep learning.

Deep expertise in either R, Python, or SAS.

Good understanding of different DBMS and SQL

Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) is a plus

Additional Skills:

Data processing and data science libraries of Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit learn, etc.).

Experience and understanding of working with massive datasets

Building ML algorithms from scratch in Python, SAS or R

Knowledge of various analytical models, including:

1. Cluster Analysis

2. Logistic Regression (including fraud detection and lapsation models)

3. Segmentation and Clustering

4. Next best recommendation

5. Neural network models (ANN, RNN, CNN)

6. Bagging and boosting

7. Generative models

Qualification

1. Graduate/Postgraduate degree from Tier-I/II colleges.

3. Strong understanding of statistical concepts.

3-5 years of experience in advanced analytics.
