Software Development Engineer II - Android Applications (2-4 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin with a focus on performance and usability.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.

- Ensure the application meets high-quality standards through testing and debugging.

- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development.

- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into the applications.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2+ years of professional experience in Android development.

- Proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.

- Strong understanding of modern Android architecture components (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData, Jetpack).

- Experience with UI/UX design principles and creating intuitive user interfaces.

- Familiarity with third-party libraries, APIs, and tools like Retrofit, Glide, etc.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Knowledge of app performance optimization and memory management techniques.

- Exposure to agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).

Good to Have :

- Experience working on logistics or supply chain management solutions.

- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services (e.g., Firebase).
