Junior Architect and Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:-

• Assist senior architects in the preparation of conceptual and detailed design drawings, plans, and models.
• Create accurate 2D and 3D drafts of architectural designs using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Modify existing drawings according to design changes, client requests, or site conditions.
• Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and designers, to ensure design consistency and accuracy.
• Participate in design reviews and present drafts to senior architects for feedback and revisions.
• Prepare site plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings.
• Conduct research and gather relevant data for project designs, including building codes, regulations, and materials.
• Assist in creating presentation boards and visual materials for client meetings or design reviews.
• Maintain organized files and documentation of architectural drawings and project materials.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with the latest design standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in architecture and drafting technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in architectural design and drafting (internships or academic projects count).
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design tools.
• Basic knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to design changes.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A portfolio or examples of previous work demonstrating your drafting and design capabilities.

Working Conditions:
