Job Title: Senior Software Developer - Java API, Spring Boot, Microservices

Location: Pune / Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while adhering to best practices in software engineering.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs and microservices to support various business processes and integrate with third-party services.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, system performance issues, and operational challenges.
• Implement security features and practices in the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best coding practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment and continuous integration of services.
• Work with business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Stay up to date with the latest software development trends, technologies, and frameworks, and apply them to enhance the product.

Key Requirements:

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Java (version 8 or above) and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud).
• Experience with Microservices architecture and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, development, and integration.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools like Jira or Scrum.

• Domain Experience:
• Experience in the banking and financial services domain is a plus.
• Understanding of financial systems, transactions, or regulatory compliance standards is an advantage.

• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with stakeholders.
• Ability to handle complex requirements and deliver high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
• Mentorship skills to guide and support junior developers.
