• As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment
• This role involves hands-on work with machinery, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that mechanical systems operate efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance:Install, assemble, and set up mechanical systems and equipment according to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of machinery
• Troubleshooting:Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in equipment or systems
• Conduct tests to identify problems and implement corrective actions
• Repair and Overhaul:Repair or replace defective components in mechanical systems, such as bearings, gears, and seals
• Overhaul machinery to extend its lifespan and improve performance
• Operational Testing:Conduct operational tests to ensure that repaired or installed machinery meets performance standards
• Make adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Blueprint Reading:Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand system layouts and specifications
• Ensure that installations and repairs align with design requirements
• Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on mechanical systems
• Identify and address safety hazards to prevent accidents or injuries
• Documentation:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment specifications
• Generate reports on equipment status and performance
• Collaboration:Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and maintenance personnel to achieve project goals
• Provide input on equipment upgrades and modifications
