Database Administrator - Data Warehousing Solutions (5-10 yrs)

We are looking for a DBA cum DWH.

Giving more focus on DBA.

Responsibilities of Database Administrator :

- Controlling, maintaining, coordinating, and operation of Database Management System.

- Designing and implementing databases in accordance to end users' information needs and views

- Build and develop queries, stores procedure, etc. that meets firm or organization needs.

- Network and Security : A DBA should be knowledgeable about network protocols, firewalls, and security policies to ensure that the database is secure from external threats.

- He/she should be familiar with Linux/Windows OS, Windows Servers

- Microsoft SQL Server and SQL programming skills (SSIS), experience deploying on enterprise RDBMS and OLAP data platforms

- Makes the decision concerning the content of the database.

- Manage, maintain, and upgrade the Database server when required.

- Plans the storage structure and access strategy.

- Monitor the performance and respond to the changes in the requirements.

- Regular status reporting and team handling

- Proficient in Backup and restoring databases.

- Database migration

- Should have good analytical and learning abilities.

Skills required for DBA :

- Database designing.

- Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).

- Know about distributed architecture.

- Knowledge oF different operating servers.

- Knowledge of AWS and Shell Scripting would be added advantage

- Knowledge of Python
