About CHR:

Role: Senior Manager/AGM - HRBP (Customer Cohort lead - HRBP, Learning & Development)

Location: Bangalore

Experience Level: 8-10 years

Travel Requirement: Extensive travel across India and International locations

What will you own:

In this role, you would be supporting four critical functions within our customer-facing operations: India Sales, International Operations, Marketing, and TallyCapital. This role will also oversee HR business partnership and learning, development, and organizational development (OD) needs for these functions.

In this role, you would manage a team of 4-5 HRBP and Learning & Development specialists, providing them with guidance and strategic direction to support the overall growth, engagement, and capability building objectives of the organization.

Experience to bring with you:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in team management and in HR Business Partnering, Learning & Development, and/or Organizational Development, preferably from FMCG/Product sales environment who understands Sales life cycle.

- Should come from a background of managing Sales teams as an HR partner.

- Strong experience in handling the entire lifecycle of employees.

- Experience in spearheading at least 2 -3 key transformational projects in L&D or Total Rewards etc. for Sales teams.

- Expertise in learning and development strategy and program design, with a focus on enhancing both technical and soft skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Proven ability to lead through change, drive innovation, and influence others.

- Culturally aware with experience working across geographies and diverse teams.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What will you be doing ?

- Strategic HR Business Partnering

- Be the primary HR Business Partner for the Customer Cohort, aligning HR strategies with business goals across India Sales, International Operations, Marketing, and Tally Capital.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive people strategies, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives that support business objectives.

- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights on talent, culture, and organization design to improve business performance.

- Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions within functions, proactively managing the impact on people and processes.

Learning, Development & Organizational Development (OD)

- Develop and implement a robust learning and development strategy, tailored to enhance skill sets across each customer cohort function.

- Lead initiatives for leadership development, employee engagement, and capability building, with a focus on technical skills, soft skills, and cross-functional competencies.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts and external vendors to design and deliver high-quality, impactful learning programs.

- Assess training needs and oversee the creation of customized learning paths for each function, ensuring alignment with business priorities and individual development needs.

Team Leadership and Development

- Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 HR and Learning professionals, fostering a high performance culture and encouraging innovation and collaboration.

- Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members, helping them achieve personal growth and career advancement.

- Ensure seamless integration between HRBP and Learning functions within the team, creating a unified and cohesive approach to talent management across the Customer Cohort.

Operational Excellence

- Oversee the planning and execution of HR and L&D processes within the Customer Cohort, including performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement.

- Partner with HR operations to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery, utilizing data-driven insights to continuously improve HR and L&D processes.

- Manage budget, resources, and vendor relationships effectively to optimize the impact of HR and learning interventions.

Stakeholder Engagement and Travel

- Build strong relationships with senior leadership and key stakeholders across all cohort functions, acting as a trusted partner in shaping the people strategy.

- Frequently travel across India and International locations to engage with team members, understand unique functional challenges, and implement HR and L&D
