Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Analysis:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data using statistical methods and research tools.
- Conduct primary and secondary research for fact-checking and data verification.
- Develop research methodologies and data collection strategies.
- Assemble information into comprehensive reports with detailed narratives.
Market & Financial Research:
- Analyze financial statements, valuations, and key business relationships.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and industry shifts.
- Provide insights to support business strategy, decision-making, and investments.
Consumer & Trend Insights:
- Detect emerging trends before they go viral, ensuring our brand stays ahead.
- Dive into consumer behavior, analyzing patterns to predict future demands.
- Transform complex data into compelling stories to drive strategic decisions.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to fulfill research requirements.
- Maintain databases and spreadsheets for internal tracking and reporting.
- Present findings through reports, visualizations, and executive summaries.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and accounting concepts.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and trend-spotting abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High level of business acumen with sound market knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and relationship-building skills.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Qualification: BCom/MCom or equivalent degree in Finance, Business, Market Research, or related fields.
- Experience: 5+ years in market research, financial analysis, or consumer insights.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with research tools, data visualization software, and analytics platforms.
- Curiosity-Driven: A natural investigator with an eye for detail and a passion for uncovering hidden insights.
- Storytelling Ability: The skill to convert data into impactful narratives that inspire action.
