Job Description

FMCG Operations Manager

Objectives of this role:

- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction the primary goal by supervising, organising, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals

- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilisation, inventory and shipping methods

- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics

- Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service

- Oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to production, warehousing, and distribution.

- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of products.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce wastage.

- Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring the timely availability of raw materials.

- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to monitor stock levels, reorder points, and lead times.

- Responsible for the overall office administration incoming and outgoing mails handling/distribution, coordinates purchasing of supplies.

- Pitch the Products to the Prospective Customers & make the closures.

- Generate Invoices and dispatch material

- Check Stock and ensure production

- Arrange logistics for dispatch

- Manage day to day all business operational activities.

Required skills and qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies

- Excellence in MS-Excel and Basic computer knowledge.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualitiy

- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff

- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
