Platform Product Manager - Cloud Technologies (5-10 yrs)

About the Role :

As a Platform Product Manager at you will take ownership of building and evolving the technical foundations of our platform. This role requires a deep understanding of distributed systems, API design, and large-scale data infrastructure, as well as the ability to translate customer and business needs into scalable platform features. Collaborating closely with engineering, data science, UX teams, and customer-facing teams

We're looking for a highly technical product leader who thrives on solving complex problems, drives cross-functional collaboration, and ensures that our platform meets the demands of scalability, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities :

- Own and define the roadmap for core platform components, including APIs, distributed systems, and data infrastructure.

- Collaborate with engineering to design and deliver scalable, high-performance systems that support customer-facing applications and internal tools.

- Work closely with data science teams to ensure the platform can efficiently handle ML models, AI agents, and data processing pipelines.

- Partner with customer teams and customer-facing teams to translate enterprise requirements into technical specifications and platform capabilities.

- Define and monitor KPIs for platform performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Drive technical trade-off decisions, ensuring that short-term deliverables align with long-term platform goals.

- Stay informed about industry trends in platform architecture, cloud technologies, and AI/ML to guide innovation

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in product management with a strong focus on technical products, platforms, or infrastructure.

- Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, and scalable data infrastructure.

- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing large-scale datasets.

- Familiarity with AI/ML systems, including model deployment and performance monitoring.

- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and contribute to technical discussions.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences, including customer teams.

- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
