Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
  
• Deliver high-quality medical care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
• Clinical Expertise:
  
• Conduct detailed patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging, blood work, and other relevant investigations.
• Emergency Management:
  
• Provide rapid response and emergency care to stabilize critically ill patients.
• Execute life-saving procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and advanced ventilator management.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
  
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in case discussions and contribute to the development of comprehensive treatment plans.
• Quality and Compliance:
  
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and clinical guidelines to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in critical care.
• Documentation and Communication:
  
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clarity and transparency in care delivery.

Qualifications:

• MBBS + DA or MD / DNB / Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
• A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in critical care settings.
• Strong clinical and procedural skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care
