Regional Credit Manager (4-7 yrs)

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Credit Manager to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad.

As a key member of our credit team, you will play a pivotal role in managing credit risk, analyzing financial data, and overseeing credit processes for a specific region.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Risk Management:

- Assess and evaluate creditworthiness of customers and businesses.

- Monitor and manage credit risk exposure within the region.

- Develop and implement effective credit risk mitigation strategies.

Financial Analysis:

- Analyze financial statements, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial data to assess creditworthiness.

- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential and existing customers.

Credit Policy and Procedures:

- Ensure adherence to established credit policies and procedures.

- Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to optimize credit processes.

Credit Limit Management:

- Establish and adjust credit limits based on risk assessment and customer performance.

- Monitor and control credit utilization to minimize risk.

Collection and Recovery:

- Oversee the timely collection of overdue payments.

- Implement effective collection strategies to minimize losses.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.

- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any issues.

Team Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

- Bachelor's/ master's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- Proven experience in credit risk management, preferably in a similar role.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in credit analysis tools and software
