Solution Architect - New Delhi

As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and innovative solutions. You will leverage your expertise in the latest technologies and open-source platforms to drive the success of our projects.

The ideal candidate may possess a deep understanding of the airport industry, coupled with hands-on experience in individual contributor roles.

The candidate will collaborate with cross functional team, including engineers, vendors/OEMs, developers, project managers, business analysts to create architectural designs that align with our client's objectives and drive innovation.

Responsibilities :

1. Solution Design and Architecture :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design end- to-end solutions for airport-related projects considering factors such as infrastructure, technology, data management, and scalability.

- Develop architectural blueprints and technical documentation for proposed solutions.

- Ensure alignment of solutions with industry best practices and standards.

2. Requirements Analysis :

- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to gather and analysis their requirements, ensuring that the architectural solutions meet their needs.

3. System Integration :

- Oversee the integration of various system and technologies, ensuring seamless connectivity and interoperability within airport ecosystems.

4. Technology Evaluation and Selection :

- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in the open-source community.

- Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies and platforms to meet project requirements.

- Provide guidance on the selection of tools and frameworks for development.

5. Hands-On Development :

- Act as an individual contributor in the development process, contributing to coding and programming tasks as needed.

- Mentor and guide development teams in implementing best practices and ensuring code quality.

6. Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure successful project delivery.

- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

7. Quality Assurance :

- Define and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of solutions.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to development teams.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the solution architecture and development lifecycle.

- Proactively contribute to the evolution of the technology stack based on emerging trends.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 13 years of experience in IT, with at least 7+ years in Solution Architect with a focus on airport domain
• Proficiency in architectural modelling tools and methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in open-source technologies and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as J2EE, Python, microservices, PostgreSQL, MYSQL, AODB (good to have) and related airport technologies.
• In-depth understanding of airport-related systems, processes, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solution Architecture or equivalent are a plus.
