AIonOS - Solution Architect - Presales (8-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Presales Activities :

- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.

- Lead client presentations, workshops, and demonstrations to showcase the value of proposed solutions.

- Act as a technical advisor during presales discussions, addressing client concerns and providing expert guidance.

RFP Management :

- Take ownership of the end-to-end RFP response process, including requirement analysis, solution design, and proposal writing.

- Develop detailed and compelling RFP responses that clearly articulate the proposed solution, its benefits, and its alignment with client needs.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.

Solution Estimation :

- Provide accurate effort, cost, and timeline estimations for proposed solutions.

- Work closely with delivery teams to validate estimates and ensure feasibility.

- Develop pricing models and commercial proposals that align with client budgets and business objectives.

Solution Architecture :

- Compliant to best practices (not just hyperscaler "well-architected" best practices).

- Experience in formally documenting and communicating architecture.

Estimation :

- Ability to deal with ambiguity and come up with solutions, assumptions, and estimates with clear logic.

- Experienced with estimation techniques.

- Architectural Design : Develop and document architectural patterns, processes, and standards for cloud-native environments.

- API Strategy Development : Define API strategies that align with business objectives and promote best practices in API design and management.

- Microservices Implementation : Design microservices architectures that facilitate scalable and resilient application development.

- Integration Solutions : Implement integration solutions using integration products to connect disparate systems seamlessly.

- Cloud Infrastructure Management : Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

- Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and developers on best practices in cloud-native integration.

Solution Blueprints :

- Create comprehensive solution blueprints that outline the architecture, components, and integration points of proposed systems.

- Ensure blueprints are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.

- Present blueprints to stakeholders, addressing technical and non-technical concerns.

Technology Leadership :

- Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies, tools, and platforms to ensure the best fit for the organization's needs.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into the solution design where applicable.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, providing guidance on technology trends and best practices.

Quality Assurance & Risk Management :

- Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.

- Identify potential risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure the success of the project.

Mentorship & Team Development :

- Mentor and guide junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

- Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in a solution architecture role, with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex systems.

- Strong experience in presales activities, including RFP responses, solution estimation, and client presentations.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in API strategy, API architecture, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.

- Proficiency in cloud platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.

- Proficiency in integration technologies (Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Functions (lamda))

- Strong knowledge of programming languages (i.e., Java, Python, C#) and frameworks.

- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with data architecture, databases, and big data technologies.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Leadership and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in cloud platforms (i.e., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

- Experience in industries such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.

- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application in business solutions.

- Proven experience in writing and managing RFP responses.
