Job Summary:
- The Zonal Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs for sales teams across all distribution channels. The role focuses on enhancing product knowledge, sales effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and overall business performance through structured training interventions.
Key Responsibilities (KRA):
- Develop and execute training strategies aligned with business goals across all channels (Agency, Bancassurance, Direct, Digital, etc.).
- Conduct product, sales, and soft skills training sessions for sales teams, distributors, and business partners.
- Drive productivity enhancement programs to improve sales performance and business outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to IRDAI and company compliance guidelines through regulatory training.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs and customize learning programs accordingly.
- Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and e-learning modules to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Develop training content, including presentations, case studies, role-plays, and simulations.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to align training programs with performance gaps.
- Conduct on-the-job training, mentoring, and certification programs for field teams.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and HR teams to align training initiatives with business strategies.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory updates to ensure training remains relevant.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of life insurance products, sales processes, and distribution channels. Masters is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience in sales training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Ability to design and implement training modules effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and business impact.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and LMS platforms.
- High energy, proactive approach, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills
