Assistant Manager Sales

Responsible for proactively soliciting and managing Taj Safaris sales related opportunities. Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Ensures business is turned over properly.

Assists the Corporate Director - Sales in day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of unit sales objectives, to develop strategies to maximize APR & ARR, profitability and grow market share.

• Functions as a team member of the sales department and is responsible for company reactive and proactive sales targeting various segments like Leisure, corporate, transient etc.
• Responsible for achieving revenue goals, guest, associate satisfaction and the financial performance of the department.
• Participates in meetings with the entire team to ensure effective & syncronized approach for the achieving the targets.
• Coordinates with the Director of Finance and follows TPAM requirements.
• Analyses the competition information along with Corporate Director- Sales & team for effective pricing of the lodges.
• Plans Sales Blitz & reviews reports for the feeder cities for the lodges
• Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure strong partnerships with local DMC s, domestic agents and corporates to further increase brand/product awareness.
• Ensures to manage internal key stakeholder relationships
