Job Description

A Catering Sales Coordinator is responsible for promoting and selling catering services to potential clients, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving revenue growth. Here are some key responsibilities of a Catering Sales Executive:

Primary Responsibilities

1. Generate Sales Leads: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and referrals.

2. Build Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

3. Conduct Site Visits: Meet with potential clients at their venues or offices to discuss catering requirements and showcase services.

4. Create Customized Proposals: Design and present tailored catering proposals to clients, highlighting menu options, pricing, and services.

5. Negotiate Contracts: Finalize contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring all details are accurate and mutually beneficial.

Sales and Marketing

1. Meet Sales Targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the catering business.

2. Develop Sales Strategies: Implement effective sales tactics, staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.

3. Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials, social media content, and advertising campaigns.

4. Represent the Company: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the catering business and establish relationships with potential clients.

Operational and Administrative

1. Coordinate with Operations: Liaise with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of catering events, including logistics, staffing, and menu planning.

2. Manage Client Communications: Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, providing exceptional customer service.

3. Maintain Sales Records: Accurately record and update sales data, client interactions, and event details in the companys CRM system.

4. Stay Organized: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines to ensure efficient sales operations.
