The Sales & Marketing Manager leads a team of sales and marketing professionals, ensuring their efforts align with the company's goals and objectives
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market penetration
Marketing Strategy: Create comprehensive marketing plans to promote products/services, increase brand awareness, and generate leads
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the sales and marketing teams, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve performance goals
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging trends, using the insights to refine strategies
Product Promotion: Collaborate with the product development team to design effective product launch and promotion strategies
Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales and marketing budgets, optimizing resources for maximum ROI
Sales Forecasting: Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast future sales and align inventory and production accordingly
Customer Relationship Management: Nurture and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content marketing
Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials
Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales and marketing reports for management, evaluating performance and identifying areas for improvement
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as product development, finance, and operations, to align strategies and achieve overall company goals
Events and Trade Shows: Plan and coordinate participation in industry events and trade shows to promote products and services
Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors' activities and pricing strategies to adjust marketing tactics accordingly
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in sales and marketing activities
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
An MBA or advanced degree may be advantageous
Proven experience in sales and marketing management, preferably within the same industry or a related field
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, capable of driving innovative solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Data-driven mindset, adept at using analytics to make informed decisions
Knowledge of digital marketing trends and tools
