Job Title: Head of B2B Collections.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Head of B2B Collections for India & APAC to lead and optimize our receivables management processes.
This role will be responsible for developing collection strategies, improving cash flow, reducing delinquencies, and managing relationships with key B2B clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control, risk management, and customer negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective B2B collections strategy to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
- Manage a team of collections specialists, ensuring high performance and adherence to compliance standards.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to align credit policies with business objectives.
- Analyze customer payment trends and proactively address potential credit risks.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure timely payments and resolve disputes.
- Implement automation and technology solutions to improve collections efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key collection metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 18+ years of experience in B2B collections, credit control, or receivables management.
- Proven experience in managing large portfolios and high-value transactions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, credit policies, and debt recovery processes.
- Proficiency in collections software and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e., SaaS, Fintech, Manufacturing, etc.
- Familiarity with international collections and multi-currency transactions.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present data-driven insights.
