About the Role :
We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist NLP to develop and fine-tune deep learning models for forecasting and other supply chain use cases in the CPG and Retail industry. You will work at the cutting edge of NLP, Generative AI, and Reinforcement Learning, developing scalable and efficient AI solutions that drive business impact.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and fine-tune Deep Learning models for forecasting and supply chain optimization in CPG and Retail.
- Extract insights from text data using NLP techniques to enhance AI models.
- Build applications leveraging LLMs and Generative AI to provide seamless data interaction.
- Develop explainability techniques for complex Deep Learning models and quantify the impact of input drivers.
- Benchmark Deep Learning models using public and proprietary datasets to select the best fit for different use cases.
- Optimize Deep Learning models for training efficiency, inference speed, and cost-effectiveness.
- Scale models to handle large datasets and distributed infrastructure.
- Conduct research in state-of-the-art AI fields (NLP, GenAI, Reinforcement Learning) and contribute to leading AI conferences/journals.
- Assist in patent creation and intellectual property development in Data Science applications for CPG and Retail.
- Mentor team members and educate them on the latest advancements in AI/ML.
Qualifications :
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Applied Scientist, or Machine Learning Engineer.
- Expert-level knowledge of Deep Learning architectures, NLP techniques, Generative AI, and Reinforcement Learning.
- Strong foundation in Machine Learning, Data Science fundamentals, and Time Series Forecasting.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML/DL libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy.
- Hands-on experience with structured and unstructured datasets to extract insights.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their managed AI/ML services.
- Experience in end-to-end data science pipelines, including EDA, modeling, visualization, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills for AI-driven business challenges.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working in the CPG, FMCG, or Retail industry.
- Prior experience in optimizing AI models for performance and cost efficiency.
- Contributions to AI research, publications, or patents.
- Familiarity with distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
