Location: Pune / Bengaluru

Experience: 5 to 8 years

T-Systems is looking for a highly motivated Database Administrator who will be working in a cross-functional and international team within an innovative and agile environment.

Required skills:

• Strong experience in managing SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, and Cassandra create (check on basic knowledge atleast) in a clustered deployment.
• Strong experience in monitoring performance aspects of databases and doing fine-tuning of configuration for optimum performance.
• Strong experience in query optimization to provide guidance to developers.
• Understanding on database deployments in Kubernetes environments, especially using Kubernetes operators
• Comfortable in Linux based operating systems.
• Good experience in scripting languages like shell script, python

Good to have skills:

• Experience on graph database technologies like JanusGraph, Gremlin, Apache TinkerPop

Soft skills:

• Good communication skills with usage of remote technologies e.g. chat, telepresence, Webex
• Teamwork, open-minded, empathy, adaptability and accountability are highly welcome
