Finance Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor and improve company financial accounting policies and procedures in order to ensure and manage, the accurate, consistent, timely recording and reporting of accounting and financial data and meet the needs of the business.
• Provide internal financial controls for the protection of the assets of the business.
• Prepare and issue all financial statements, reports, budgets (AOP), estimates, forecasts and related statistics as required by Teleflex Inc.
• Determine manufacturing variance and report to top management.
• Review, implement and maintain an effective and efficient financial accounting and management reporting system incorporating the proper internal controls.
• Liaise with Bankers, external (tax & cost) auditors and insurance surveyors.
• Liaise with GST, customs authorities & other concerned statutory bodies.
• Manage and control inventory holdings & Physical verification of stocks
• Preparation of documents for export as well as claiming the export benefits.
• Look for cost saving opportunities.
• Accountable for any cash receipts and all disbursements.
• Establish a financial organization that can effectively perform all activities essential to the plant operation.
• Develop finance team to meet the needs of the plant.
• Provide direction to the inventory control function to assure inventories are in concert with production plans, marketing objectives and inventory policies.
• Analyses financial information for internal and external reporting.
• Manage the financial function in an efficient and economical manner.
• Perform any other relevant and related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
• To follow the safety requirements of the company strictly
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Head of Factory/APAC Operations Finance Director from time to time

• Manufacturing accounting methods, Taxation
• Costing & variance analysis
• Preparation of MIS, Budgeting & all other financials

Functional competencies :

Work experience in ERP is a plus advantage
