Job Description :
As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a Data and Analytics (D & A) team responsible for data engineering, business intelligence and data visualization that enables the business to make informed decisions in all areas including supply chain, inventory management, customer satisfaction and finance.
The ETL Developer will be responsible for design, development and testing of stored procedures and ETL processes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. The ETL Developer will work closely with BI Team and business to understand business requirements, translate them into technical design, develop data pipelines and implement solutions in the Data Warehouse (Redshift).
Responsibilities:
Develop complex stored procedures and SQL OLAP/Analytic functions per business requirements.
Read existing stored procedures and learn the data model and business rules from it.
Conduct database testing to ensure data quality and integrity.
Optimize existing ETL process and SQL statements to improve performance.
Analyze and solve complex technical data and transformation issues.
Create and maintain ETL process design, data model and operations documentation.
Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
5 years of demonstrated experience in SQL ETL development for the large Enterprise Data Warehousing environment.
Experience with Data model design and complex stored procedure development.
Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL and/or Redshift and PL/SQL scripting and query optimization.
Knowledge and experience with full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, disseminate, and present significant amounts of information with an attention to detail and accuracy.
Manage and prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills
Experience in one (or more) scripting languages is a big plus: Unix Shell, Bash, Python, Scala, Java)
AWS certification or experience with AWS services, S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.
Working experience in an Agile methodology is preferred.
Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools is a plus.
Experience with Informatica is a plus.
Education Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other relevant degree or demonstrable equivalent experience
