Full-Stack Developer (Frontend Focus)

About Us:

Our client is an early-stage AI startup on a mission to drive efficiency in the healthcare system through automation. Our core belief is that any task can be automated if we re clever. Our first copilot, Bill, performs tasks currently done by - you guessed it - medical billers in the US. We re looking for talented engineers interested in making global healthcare more reliable and cost-efficient.

Job Overview:

As a full-stack developer with a frontend focus, your primary responsibility will be building and maintaining the web interfaces for our copilots. But our client is an early-stage startup, so be prepared to learn on the fly and step outside your comfort zone. You will work closely with the founder who is responsible for product management and AI engineering. You will also be expected to use AI tools such as ChatGPT wherever possible to move at speed.

Key Responsibilities:

Build, test, and maintain performant frontend architectures for copilot web interfaces.
Implement responsive design and seamless cross-platform experience for users on web and mobile browsers.
Ensure HIPAA compliance in frontend user interactions.
Provide temporary support in UI/UX design and backend development where necessary until dedicated team members are recruited.

Requirements:

4 - 6 years of experience in full stack or frontend development.
Proficiency in Next.js and Material UI.
Experience building frontend systems in regulated environments.
Experience implementing and optimizing user workflows using prebuilt UI components.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Proficiency with AWS Amplify for frontend development.
Experience implementing secure authentication mechanisms using AWS Cognito.
Familiarity with backend development in Node.js.
