Job Description
- Manage and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components, including operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Conduct regular system backups and recovery operations in the event of data loss.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including resolving hardware and software issues, answering technical questions, and providing training as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all hardware, software, and system configurations. Collaborate with other IT team members and vendors to ensure system compatibility and scalability.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as installing software updates and patches, and conducting system audits.
- Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
- Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software, and other processes.
- Review application logs.
- Install and test computer-related equipment.
Requirements
- 0-1 years training /internship experience in System Engineer
- Associate or higher degree in a related field
- Extensive experience with VMware
- Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
- Basic understanding of insurance goals and practices
- Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a limited basis
Experience and Qualification
- 0-1 years
- Recent graduates or Diploma (preferably 2023/2024 batch)/B.Tech in IT / CS / MCA.
- 0-1 years
- 0-1 years training /internship experience in System Engineer
