Key Responsibilities :
- Project Delivery & Management : Oversee the end-to-end execution of Oracle projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and client satisfaction. Manage resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
- Oracle Module Expertise : Lead and manage projects involving Oracle modules such as PA (Project Accounting), GL (General Ledger), AR (Accounts Receivable), AP (Accounts Payable), and FA (Fixed Assets), ensuring deep understanding of each modules functionalities and integration.
- Cross-functional Coordination : Work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Risk and Issue Management : Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project progress remains on track. Manage any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle, escalating when necessary.
- Audit Coordination : Ensure that all necessary audit and compliance procedures are followed throughout the project. Provide required documentation and coordinate with auditors as needed.
- Team and Resource Management : Lead a team of project managers, functional consultants, and other relevant staff. Ensure team members are aligned with project goals and have the necessary resources and support to meet deadlines.
- Process Adherence & Continuous Improvement : Ensure adherence to standard software development processes, including but not limited to requirements gathering, testing, and deployment. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying and addressing performance gaps.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in managing Oracle ERP implementations across modules like PA, GL, AR, AP, and FA.
- In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Data Management processes.
- Extensive experience in client and vendor management, including coordinating with both internal and external clients.
- Ability to manage project scope, budgets, resources, and timelines while ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and deliver clear, actionable solutions.
- Ability to identify and communicate findings to senior management and clients, facilitating problem-solving and continuous performance improvement.
- Experience in risk management and the ability to anticipate challenges, implementing proactive strategies to address them.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to document and review business processes, advising clients on Oracle system services and integration best practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, vendors, and multiple project stakeholders.
Desired Skills :
- Oracle Project Accounting (PA), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Fixed Assets (FA) module experience.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud (Fusion) is a plus.
- Oracle Certifications related to ERP modules or project management are desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
- Experience in multi-national or large-scale ERP implementations is a plus.
