What Youll Be Doing: Supporting the day-to-day operations of the environment, including installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting engineering secure compute environments across various application domains and platforms.
Performing routine system patching to address security vulnerabilities and accurately reporting security incidents.
Responding to alerts, reported issues, escalating problems as required, and resolving significant matters using independent judgment within established support practices.
Preparing and installing solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Building productive internal/external working relationships, primarily within the business unit and with external customer contacts on routine matters.
Assisting with the automation of IT infrastructure using Ansible and various other tools.

What Youll Need: Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems.
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP and basic networking.
Solid knowledge of network-related services such as NIS/LDAP, DNS, NFS, and DHCP.
Experience with programming administration tasks using shell scripts and languages like Python.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
