Assistant Manager / Manager - Costing

Role & responsibilities

• Monitor profit margins on products to ensure profitability while maintaining competitive pricing in the market.
• Sale orders approval in SAP.
• Generating monthly batch wise Sale vs Cogs report.
• Generating the Cost Sheets to Clients for finalizing the transfer price and share with relevant marketing team.
• Reviewing the Client's Cost Sheet for final cross verification given price.
• New product costing calculate the average cost per unit of products to ensure cost-effectiveness and competitiveness in the market.
• Monitoring and analyse the differences between budgeted costs and actual costs to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure NIL audit related GAPS in both statutory and internal auditors.
• Co-ordination with purchase team, R&D & plant team for cost reduction initiatives and
  continuous improvement projects to drive operational efficiency and improve profitability.
• Co-ordination with RM & PM purchase team for pricing.
• Measure how quickly high value & non moving inventory is being used in production.
• Evaluate cost of R&D for new product development.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have Pharmaceutical Industry Experience of 4-5 Years
