BI Developer (Tableau/Power BI)

Our client is the Global Innovation Center (GIC) based out of Ahmedabad, India, which explores, implements and supports innovation in the following digital domains: Analytics and Data Sciences, Digital Transformation, and Third Wave Digital Customer Experience.

They are also the world s largest manufacturer of medical scrubs. Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, USA with commercial offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong, they have been a leader in product and technology innovation within the uniform apparel market.

Position: BI Developer (Tableau/Power BI)

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience using Tableau/Power BI or alternate BI tools

Location: Ahmedabad

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar Degree

Salary: 7 to 9 LPA

Office time: 11AM to 8PM / 12PM to 9PM

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, Design, and support interactive reports, dashboards, and templates.
• Deploy dashboard/reports to Tableau/Power BI server/online Environment.
• Expert-level skills in building complex interactive/dynamic dashboards with Tableau.
• Support multi-environment Tableau/Power BI infrastructure including server security, troubleshooting and general system maintenance
• Experience in writing queries using PostgreSQL, Oracle or MySQL.
• Ability to display an understanding of Retail Sales Analysis and Supply Chain Management.
• Critical thinking/analytical skills and intellectual curiosity to provide in-depth analysis.
• Developing strong analytical and fact-based decision-making dashboards and visual stories.
• Provide inputs to the DB team for adequate Warehousing and Reporting solutions
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize requests and workload accordingly.
• Influence horizontally and vertically across the organization and diverse audiences with varying degrees of technical understanding.
• Exhibit strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.

Skills:

• Proficiency with Tableau Desktop 2019.x or above Power BI Desktop
• Good knowledge of Jasper Studio
• Working knowledge of RDBDMS (PostgreSQL would be an added advantage)
• Effective and crisp communication (oral,written)
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
