National Head - Warehousing Operations - Manufacturing Industry (7-15 yrs)

Summary:

The position will be responsible for the overall strategy and operational performance of the warehousing function in India for all entities. This is a very strategic and critical role in the Company as it aims to provide a competitive edge to the organisation by bringing the best standards in terms of service to the customer, environmental impact, and health and safety.

Qualifications, experience & other role-specific competencies:

- Strong in data analytics, tech-savvy, and good experience in project management

- Experience in warehouse solution design, and network design.

- Knowledge of warehouse automation /digitization strategies

- Assertive, objective-driven with leadership qualities.

- Proven experience in supplier management

- Good knowledge of warehouse operations

- Lean management experience is an added advantage.

- +7 years' experience in warehousing or supply chain consulting

- Preferred MBA / master's from a top institute

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategy:

- Develop a vision and plan to bring warehouses to the best standards.

- Participate in the overall network designing and reviewing of the distribution model.

- Define the warehouse management model and draw a plan of action.

- Study and propose possible automation and digitization opportunities.

Project Management:

- Participate in the study, RFQ, action plan, and execution of any major warehouse project (relocation, expansion, WMS implementation, etc).

Operational Excellence:

- Drive the KPIs of our warehouses and ensure adherence to the best operational standards.

- Implement the Group operational excellence program in all our warehouses.

- Drive Continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Health & Safety:

- Drive health and safety culture and practices across all our warehouses.
