Job Description: NetBrain Automation Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled NetBrain Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing NetBrains network automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts in network troubleshooting and diagnostics. The ideal candidate should have experience in network automation, scripting, and working with NetBrains platform to streamline network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- NetBrain Platform Management: Install, configure, and maintain NetBrain software, ensuring optimal performance.

- Automation Development: Design and develop automation workflows, Dynamic Maps, and Runbooks to improve network monitoring and troubleshooting.

- Network Troubleshooting: Utilize NetBrains capabilities to analyze network issues, automate root cause analysis, and suggest remediations.

- Integration & Scripting: Integrate NetBrain with other network management tools and automation frameworks using Python, REST APIs, or other scripting languages.

- Performance Optimization: Optimize network automation workflows to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation for automation scripts, workflows, and network troubleshooting processes.

- Collaboration: Work closely with network engineers, DevOps, and security teams to align automation initiatives with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience: 2+ years of experience in network automation, preferably with NetBrain.

- Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).

- Automation & Scripting: Experience with Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for network automation.

- NetBrain Expertise: Hands-on experience with NetBrain’s Dynamic Maps, Runbooks, and automation workflows.

- API Integration: Knowledge of RESTful APIs for integrating network automation tools.

- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues.

- Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant networking certifications.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with other network automation tools such as Ansible, Cisco DNA Center, or Terraform.

- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow.

- Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
