Data Security Architect - DLP Solutions (11-12 yrs)

Our technology services client is seeking multiple Data Security Architect to join their team on a Full-Time basis. Below are further details about the role :

Role : Data Security Architect

Experience : 10+ Years

Location : Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Notice period : Immediate.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement a comprehensive data security architecture aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Define data security policies, standards, and guidelines.

- Assess and manage data security risks.

- Implement and manage DLP solutions to protect sensitive data.

- Define and enforce data classification and labeling policies.

- Monitor and respond to DLP alerts.

- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).

- Implement data privacy controls and procedures.

- Conduct regular data privacy impact assessments.

- Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) by implementing appropriate security controls.

- Monitor cloud security posture and respond to threats.

- Leverage cloud-native security services to protect data.

- Implement threat detection and response solutions to identify and mitigate security threats.

- Conduct security incident investigations and response.

- Collaborate with security operations teams to ensure effective security monitoring and incident response.

- Develop and maintain security operations procedures.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in data security.

- Strong understanding of data security concepts, such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

- In-depth knowledge of data loss prevention techniques and DLP technologies.

- Experience with data security tools and technologies (DLP solutions, SIEM, SOAR, IAM).

- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, GCP Security Command Center).

- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

- Experience with zero-trust security architectures.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).

- Certifications in security (CISSP, CISM, CIPP)
