Position Overview:

As a Trade Monitoring Analyst, you will ensure the smooth operation of computerized trading systems. This role blends technical skills, problem-solving, and a solid understanding of financial markets (including options, futures, and stocks) to monitor systems, resolve issues, and calculate PNL for trades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor Trading Systems: Ensure the health of trading systems, quickly troubleshooting and identifying issues.
• Solve Technical Issues: Address problems related to trading plans, system connections, and data. Collaborate with the development team to find long-term solutions for recurring issues.
• Risk Management Support: Work with teams to understand and manage risks in computerized trading, using knowledge of options, futures, and stocks to assess and mitigate risks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate with traders, developers, and support teams to provide updates, share insights, and find solutions to issues.
• Team Meetings: Participate in meetings to discuss system performance, contribute to strategy, and share insights.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and solutions. Use your knowledge of financial products to enhance system documentation.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve system efficiency and effectiveness. Contribute to system enhancements by adding features and optimizing performance.
• Daily Trade Recording: Keep a detailed log of all trades, calculate and analyze PNL, applying knowledge of financial markets.
• Manual Order Placement: When required, manually place orders to ensure timely and accurate trade execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of equity, derivatives, and financial products.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks, monitoring, and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills (functions, PivotTables, data analysis, data visualization).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in mental math.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with trading options, futures, and stocks.
• Familiarity with market data feeds and trading APIs.
• Ability to calculate and analyze PNL for trades.
• Basic Python knowledge for data analysis and automation, to handle large datasets and enhance monitoring efficiency.
