AGM/DGM - Accounts

Location: Nariman Point, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
• Identify cost optimization and revenue enhancement opportunities.

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements as per Ind AS and regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and consolidation.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for smooth statutory audit execution.

3. Statutory Audit & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines applicable to NBFCs.
• Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory changes affecting NBFCs.

4. Payables & Receivables Management

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Establish robust internal controls and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in fund management and working capital planning.

5. Team Management & Stakeholder Coordination

• Lead and mentor a team handling financial reporting, payables, and receivables.
• Work closely with business teams to provide financial insights for operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with external consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

Key Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-10 years of experience in financial reporting & FP&A.
• Strong Ind AS knowledge and experience in financial reporting for NBFCs/BFSI.
• Hands-on experience in statutory audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and MIS reporting.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to RBI guidelines for NBFCs.
• Experience in managing large payables/receivables and working capital.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
