Roles and responsibilities :

1.SAP System Administration :

- To manage user accounts and access controls within SAP for the manufacturing unit.

- To Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues related to SAP specific to the site.

- To perform routine backups and participate in disaster recovery procedures for SAP as coordinated with the corporate IT team.

- To stay updated on SAP security patches and implement them as directed by the corporate IT team.

- To escalate complex SAP issues to the corporate IT team or external SAP support for resolution.

Local Payroll System Management :

- Maintain and administer the local payroll system, ensuring accurate and timely processing for the manufacturing unit.

- Manage user access and security for the payroll system.

- Generate reports and analyze payroll data specific to the site.

- Stay updated on local regulations and tax laws impacting payroll processing for the manufacturing unit.

- Assist with payroll audits for the site and ensure compliance with local regulations.

General IT Support :

- Troubleshoot desktop and network issues for employees within the manufacturing unit.

- Manage user accounts and access for internal applications specific to the site.

- Provide technical support to all departments within the manufacturing unit.

- Maintain and update hardware and software within the site, adhering to guidelines set by the corporate IT team.

- Ensure adherence to company IT policies and procedures within the manufacturing unit.

Manufacturing IT Integration :

- Work with the corporate IT team to ensure proper integration of SAP with other manufacturing systems (e.g , MES, Weigh Bridge) specific to the site's needs.

- Support the implementation of new technologies on the manufacturing floor in collaboration with the corporate IT team.

- Understand basic manufacturing processes and how IT can improve efficiency within the manufacturing unit.

Reporting and Communication :

- Provide regular reports on the status of IT systems and operations within the manufacturing unit to the corporate IT head.

- Participate in meetings with the corporate IT team to discuss IT strategy and initiatives for the manufacturing unit.

- Communicate effectively with the corporate IT head and other departments within the manufacturing unit regarding IT issues and solutions.

Qualifications and role requirements :

- BE/B Tec/MCA with 12 -15 Years for relevant experience
