Tax Manager

We are looking for a Tax Manager who will direct and manage multiple operations related to direct & Indirect taxes. As a Tax Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage Direct and Indirect tax-related functions in addition to compliance-related activities for Group companies. You should report monthly and quarterly tax preparation. In addition to this, you should also provide a reconciliation under various tax regime. ... Responsibilities

1. Plan, manage and develop all aspects of the company s tax process
2. Deliver a full range of tax services within a given period
3. Implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures
4. Identify tax risks
5. Mentor accounting staff
6. Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
7. Coordinate with tax audits
8. Maintain tax balances on the general ledger
9. Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis
10. Review quarterly tax projections
11. Timely filing of GST, TDS, state and local tax returns and other business filings
12. Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law development and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation
13. Provide help in minimizing tax risk in regard to acquisitions, mergers, and various other business dealings
14. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Requirements

1. Bachelor s in Commerce, Master s degree in Accounting
2. Proven 2+ years of experience as a Tax Manager, Tax Accountant or a similar role
3. CA or CA dropout will be preferred
4. Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
5. Proficiency in MS Office and tax reporting software - IRIS, Tax Robo and SAP, etc
6. Good leadership skills
7. Strong written and oral communication skills
8. Solid knowledge about GST, TDS, state, and local reporting requirements
9. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data
10. Ability to handle assessment under various tax laws
11. Hardworking and honest
12. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
13. Attention to detail and accuracy
