Network Security Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Network Security Administration:
• Configure, deploy, and manage firewalls, Switches, End point protection, VPNs, and other security devices.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect potential threats.
• Incident Response and Threat Management:
• Investigate, mitigate, and document security incidents and breaches.
• Respond to real-time security threats and alerts.
• Compliance and Policy Management:
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
• Maintain and update documentation, including network diagrams and security configurations.
• User Access Management:
• Manage user access controls, including authentication mechanisms and identity management.
• Implement and monitor role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Monitoring and Reporting:
• Analyze, and report on security events and trends.
• Generate regular security reports and metrics for management.
• Collaboration and Training:
• Work closely with other IT teams to enhance the overall security posture.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on security best practices.
