Estimation and Billing Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Estimation Engineer to join our team, responsible for estimating costs and scope for electrical projects (internal & external) to ensure competitiveness and profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specs, drawings, and documentation to assess requirements.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Collect competitive pricing from suppliers and vendors.
• Prepare bid proposals and identify opportunities for value engineering.
• Coordinate with vendors, analyze quotations, and negotiate on pricing and technical aspects.
• Conduct risk assessments and tender analysis.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to clarify project details.
• Maintain accurate records of cost estimates and project documentation.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in calculations and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and proficiency in MS Office/Excel for cost analysis.
