Job Description
- Technical Expertise:Serve as a subject matter expert in web and application server technologies, including but not limited to Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, IIS, WebSphere, JBoss, etc
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues related to server configuration, performance, security, and scalability
- Design and implement solutions to enhance server performance, reliability, and security
- Problem Resolution:Investigate and resolve escalated technical incidents from L2 support, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address systemic issues and implement long-term fixes
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:Document troubleshooting steps, issue resolution, and best practices to create a comprehensive knowledge base
- Share knowledge with L1 and L2 support teams through training sessions, documentation, and mentoring
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization:Monitor server performance, utilization, and resource allocation to proactively identify and address bottlenecks
- Optimize server configurations to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness for web and application services
- Automation and Scripting:Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve support efficiency
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure early detection of potential issues
- Collaboration:Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of applications on the server infrastructure
- Work closely with network, security, and database teams to ensure holistic system performance and security
